'double' camera bracket

Hi chaps and ladies

I shoot a variety of cameras, my main four being a Polaroid 440, Leica M, Epson R-D1 and a Samsung GX1L.

I have a manfrotto tripod and a Red Snapper one and I would ideally like a bracket that will allow me to attach two cameras at once, without plates on the bodies. Something like this:

(hey, that looks OK!)

where I I = a nut to screw into the camera body and l l attaches to the tripod head. Even better if I I can move horizontally a little bit to allow for adjustment of different bodies.

Does that make sense or have I totally disgraced and humiliated myself?

Thanks guys, the 430 looks about right (though not very adjustable)

The other one, well, I wouldn't know where to begin drawing that; it looks like a bionic clothes line.
