double sided tape for grip?

has anyone replaced their grip before? what sort of tape did you use to put it back on the camera?

Most grips are held on with a contact adhesive, i can't imagine double sided tape will be up to the wear and tear.

You can get something like Pliobond which will do the job very well, i've re-leathered all of my cameras with it and none of them slip or move at all now

I used double sided tape for a focusing ring thingmy on a lens a few months ago. If was fine for a week or so, but then started to come off again. Superglue will do the trick!
