Dowitcher and bits

Long Billed Dowitcher at Poole Park yesterday, amazingly close to the road, less than 10 foot away at times.
My best shot of it plus a couple of others.

Ive only seen a LB dowitcher once, t was in SP and looked like a housebrick at a distance, wished i had a photograph. I like the feather image, nice detail.

Im pleased with the coot one, Ive actually got the eye in good focus and think the exposure seems about right too. Pretty good for me!
