Had some down time today (first for ages!) so had a rummage around in the garden in between reading my new wedding posing book with the company of the dogs. :)

All taken on the Nikon 105mm macro and I try to get to grips with the funny zoomy thing and changing apertures it does. As you can see the DOF is utterly insane! I did these hand held too because of location and utter idleness :)

Great macro shots, all of them look excellent. (y)

Did you need to coax the dogs to lie in the sun for that shot or do they like sun bathing. My rough collie is over-heating in this weather and will do anything to get in the shade!
 
Took them for a 5 mile hike through woods this morning before it got too hot so they were up for some snoozing this afternoon and are currently spark out on the couch after having tuna for their dinner! lol
