Drifting 200SX @ JAE 2006

Here's one of an S13 200SX drifting at JAE in 2006.

This was my first time ever attempting a panning shot, with my 70-300mm zoom lens at full zoom lol. Out of 150 panning shots, this one and 3 others were the only decent ones

The main thing that spoils this - and it's not your fault, is the blue line that cuts the picture in half. Apart from that it's a good pan, better then I've achieved.

Good effort there.

My suggestions for improvement would be shoot raw, as this looks slightly overexposed to me. I would also prefer to see more track to the left of the car and less behind him.

We want to see where he is gonig to as a pose to where he has jsut come from.

Laslty, and this is not your fault either, but the background is quite poor, but there is too much foreground. I'd crop up a little to loose some grass and crop some of the track to the right of the car and it will bring out more detail inthe car and hopefully make it a bit more attractive.
