I usually shoot in RAW with my A200 and by default I have had the DYnamic Range Optimiser on from the first day I bought it. Intially all my shots were done as JPG so there was very little post processing I could do if I got things like WB, exposure etc wrong. Now that I shoot raw all the time is it still worth leaving DRO on ?

MY first impressions are probably no, also I guess if the camera doesn't have to do a DRO pass on each image as its shot they will write to card a lot quicker maybe ? so it might be better to have it off now #?

Yep. As billybob says. DRO makes no difference in RAW unless you use IDC. I have it switched off permanently, as there are better ways to achieve the same result in Lightroom/DxO etc.

Thanks both for the answers. I was never really sure if it was applied to RAW. Now I know I guess it makes no difference if its on or off then unless I switch to JPG mode again for any reasons (although this is unlikely now I have found the power of RAW :) )
