I use an oly dslr but also like to use a camcorder. Weirdly I have made hd wildlife "shorts" useing the camcorder when the light just isn't good enough to take photos. My latest I was taking goldfinch photos and the light was terrible but the camcorder coped fine. but I digress. For me having an dslr that has hd video as well would be great BUT a lot of reviews are mixed about either the video or the photo IQ.
I will leave the new olympus e5 and the top canon because I know the canon for one takes amazing footage but costs more than my car!
So can I have opinions from people who actually use mid range dslr's with video. Any flavour, I know panasonic evils have video. Anyone made any realife verdict?
