Dunmail Raise Aircraft

Hoping to get there next week (Monday or Tuesday).
I'll be geting to the lakes very early for sunrise then do a few local shots before getting to Dunmail about 9am to climb up and hope to see some jets passing through. Any tips on parking and which side to climb up? How far up etc?

There's some parking on the southbound near side near the scout (?) hut..
Another option is from Loughrigg terrace as they all seem to pass through here. Nice views too.
