Took the dog out for a walk down the beach next to Dunnotter Castle to get some pics of him running around only to take the camera out to discover i didnt have my 55-200 i had the 18-55 instead oops.. anyway while i was there decided to take a few shots of the castle free hand and came up with these..

Defo need to go back with nicer skies and the tripod sometime
 
i like number 1 Colours and perspective are nice
 
a nice viewpoint you got there, i havent been down that side of the castle only the other side and the top, i like the 1st one, the foreground is great, the castle looks a little lost, it also looks a little off colour.

great set overall though, (y)
 
i like number 1, the forground colours & the lead upto the castle have the edge for me.

Beautiful shots. I think you were lucky you didn't have the zoom lens, you might have missed these with the emphasis on the foreground.
 
They're all excellent shots Mike, Wel Done :)
 
No1 stands out from the 3, nicest foreground, good lead in, and more virbant colours.
