I don't usually look in here as transport isn't my thing, but I should cos I love planes!
My Uncle worked on Lancasters in his RAF days and would take me on the bases at Waddington and Finningley, loved those engine sounds.
My fella worked on the Vulcans during his RAF time and now contracts at Stansted. He got offered a job on the Vulcan restoration at the beginning of last year but turned it down because he thought it may be a shortlived position

Many thanks for those, I am passing this thread link on to a Tasmanian friend who is visiting us for 3 weeks soon and wants to go to a BoBMF at Bruntingthorpe as he is an aircraft fan - guess who will be going with him armed with the camera
