Good evening all,

Hope this is ok, if not please let me know.

A lot of people see photographs in railway magazines from private photographic charters and feel they are for the privilge few or those in the know. This is not the case and all are free to attend. If anybody wonders what happens, basically we start and run the consist forwards as many times as everyone wants and at various locations on the railway. If the day is sun and showers, or sun and cloud we position the consist and then wait for the sun. Of course once you have booked and it rains all day then we still do the runpasts and we test our photographic skills in the conditions. We currently have three events planned and I will put these on the forum as when they are announced.
