Yeah, such a shame. My wife IM'ed me here with the news, very sad indeed.

I remember watching him as a stand up comedian in his one man show in the old embassy ballroom (I think that's what it was called) just outside Caerphilly, where the company I was working for at the time had their staff Christmas event. He was hysterical, was very good indeed.
 
That's really sad and given his clear medical the same day, must be an enormous blow to his family and friends.

I didn't know Bernard Manning had died either.
