EF and EFS lens crop ratio change?

might seem daft question.....

But as the EFS lens sits closer into the body, would the crop ratio change, if that the right phrasing.

e.g. 35mm EF vs 35mm EFS ......would the EFS seem slightly larger or would they appear the same siz, jsut different fitting.

It's the body that determines the crop ratio not the lens.

I know, I was curious how the closer fitment of the efs lens Made a different?

No difference as the focal length is defined to the film plane and not from the back of the element. EFS just allows for better packaging
