Emerald Damselfly

Not my field [though I'd love to be able to take these sort of shots!], but all look pretty awesome to me!

Only minor niggle is that the DoF is a little too shallow for shot 1? :shrug: A small amount of blur on the rest of the damselfly would be OK, but there's just a little too much for me.

Aside from that, I'd probably crop these a little tighter, but I think that's just personal preference.

All in all, a really nice set (y)
 
Dave, now I'm just getting started in macro so you may want to take this with a whole bunch of salt but...

...in all the wildlife shots I've been posting (not macro), the main comments seem to involve getting the eyes in focus. In the first picture, the forehead seems to be in focus. The second the whole damselfly seems to be in focus except the eyes?

Now I'm being extra critical just because I'm thinking it may help. I mean, I love these shots it's just the slightly blurry eyes makes these 99% for me not 100.

Please don't hate me :(
