Epson 7880 Large Format Printer

Just bought this printer and installed it in the studio and up to now hunky dory.

Bought primarily for canvas prints and the quality is fantastic. Just printed a 24x36 canvas for a customer which I was going to farm out to a printer but those days are now ended.

Came with a full set of genuine inks which would have cost me about £600 so well chuffed.

Sounds fantastic, I'm very envious. My own printers are not doing as well as I would like and I will be looking to replace one soon. What do you charge for the 24 x 36 canvas prints?

we run a 9880. awesome kit.
dont forget you'll loose around 4 inches across a canvas if you wrap round a frame.
and shop around for inks when you come to replace em.
its startling the difference in prices from different suppliers.

I was looking at a large format printer, but was put off by the ink price! how many 24x36 prints do you think you could get out of a set of ink??

After work last night i looked about for canvas rolls, stretcher bars and ink for an HP 800, if i worked it our correctly, i could produce a 30x20 for roughly £10! you must take in to account that im a blithering idiot and iv missed a massive mistake.. lol..
