Equivilent Print Sizes

[jammy_c]

So, my D40 gives an image size/aspect ratio of 9x6.

can anyone tell me what other printable sizes this is equivalent to, please?

I know that it's the same as 6x4, but I ask because i'd like to know if it would be possible to enlarge my images without having to crop or modify the ratio.

anyone know where I can find a list? (or off the top of their head )

Thanks!

thats a ratio of 1:1.5, so just take any number ie 20 and times by 1.5 which would give you 20 x 30.

I find that i can print much bigger than this in reality, my cameras 10.1 mpx and makes 3888 x 2592, but ive printed at 30in by 20'' and it looks great!
