Hello, does anyone know what these are worth? I have one gathering dust that I don't remember ever using much. It's a car window mount that also doubles as a chest pod, or as a ground pod. Really quite flexible but I don't use it. It's made of heavy duty black rubber, perhaps with a metal interior. It seems nowhere has one in stock, I can't recall what I paid for it. I need every penny I can get, so don't want to flog it for a tenner if it's worth 100.
This is an enquiry only, it's not currently for sale. I am going to have one last go at using it from the car now that I have a larger lens. Previously i always found I needed to get out to get closer.

Grabbing a copy of AP off the shelf (cover date August 23rd 2008), WHE have them listed from £59.95. As a comparison, the same ad shows a Kik King Cobra action head as costing £349 and their latest ad has the same thing at £399.
 
I bought one for just over £60 not long ago.

It is quite sturdy, using it with the Manfrotto 393 head to hold an 1D with a Canon 300mm 2.8.

If you decide to sell I was looking for a second one for my OH so I will be looking in the sales thread ;)
 
OK, thanks for the suggestions.
I'm not allowed to sell stuff yet anyway, only just joined. When I am able, which looks to be some time away yet, it may go on. Right now I'm thinking I'll try and use it, see what happens. A bit more research suggests it's a discontinued product, so I don't want to let it go and then regret it.

I've got one micloi. Never used it.

If you're interested, I'll put an ad in the For Sale section - to play by the rules :)
 
I misread the title of the thread - thought it said EGO-rest... I came in to see if it was worth pointing a few of the more vocal TP members towards....:shrug:
