ESim on EE.

I'm soon to be the proud owner of a new Samsung S23+, I understand these phones support ESim's. Having googled how to obtain and install an ESim I'm seeing a lot of negative comments around them, and advising people to stick with their physical sim, with not much information as to why.

Any experience, advice more than welcomed.

I've just had a new iPhone, switched to esim with EE and not noticed any difference. Esim is only option with new iPhone

Not with EE, but O2, my daughter recently switched to an eSim on her iPhone so she had the physical sim slot free to take a local sim when she was in India - as far as I know it has worked perfectly.

I have had an EE e-SIM in my iPhone for the last 3 years, without any issue.

Thanks, for replying gents. I'm guessing there isn't really any problems with Esims, I just came across a tiny minority of disgruntled folk wishing to complain.
