Hi - just joined this forum a few days ago. Looks interesting.
I've had a DSLR for about a year now (Canon 350D) having won a stupid amount of money on a bet on the Eurovision Song Contest (true
).
I live in Liverpool. I seem to go to Africa from time to time. Although not exclusively.
I post pics on flickr - my stream - and put some of the best ones on a wordpress site, which was really set up as a proof of concept [1] rather than anything else.
I take hundreds of photos on the basis that there will be the odd one that's not bad. Its a formula that doesn't always work, but sometimes it produces a result.
