Here is the exif info...
Drop from a custom made set up, lit by a single flash to the left of the drop, bounced of the background in a dark room.
Canon EOS 350D, Sigma 105mm Macro lens, Sunpak pf30x flash
TV 1/200 AV f8.0 ISO 800 RAW
As for the background, not a CD! I will keep you guessing!

Fabolous shot! Really like it, but why dont you try to rotate it by 180 degrees to get the exclamation mark the right way up. Try to experiment what it would look like.

No it is the bowl in the middle of the shot! I am still working toward a better shot without the edge, took some today which I am gradually posting...
