Experimenting with sepia

Managed to get one pic out of today--too windy:bang:
I am trying to learn when to use sepia and Black and White
Plz tell me what you think--also my only camera @ the moment
is a digi, but i'm working on getting a film and lens starter

I don't think it really works in that shot, just makes it look flat and muddy. I'm sure there are other reasons to use sepia, but the most common one is to give a shot an 'aged' look.
