It has probably been our wettest year on record and farmers have been rejoicing over what is promising to be a bumper harvest.
But so too are the locusts. Today I came upon a cloud of them exterminating crops, transforming pastures into dust.
One found its way onto the dashboard of my car and thereby to my desktop and the forum.
I dare not post him to the Landscape forum lest I'm plagued with questions.

This is my very first 'dragonfly' (I think) Shot from my car at full zoom from about 3 metres.

Nice when they come and pose for you.
How big was the "dragon fly"?

Did you manager to get any shot of the "lucust cloud" - do they just as black cloud or swarm an make patterns like starlings?

The Dragonfly was about 6cm I would say and I got no shot of the locust cloud which in this region, NE Victoria, is not very dense as it is north in NSW.
