It has probably been our wettest year on record and farmers have been rejoicing over what is promising to be a bumper harvest.
But so too are the locusts. Today I came upon a cloud of them exterminating crops, transforming pastures into dust.
One found its way onto the dashboard of my car and thereby to my desktop and the forum.
I dare not post him to the Landscape forum lest I'm plagued with questions.

This is my very first 'dragonfly' (I think) Shot from my car at full zoom from about 3 metres.
70-300mm (140-600mm Equiv.) Olympus standard zoom, 1/400 @ f/5.6 @ ISO800
