F-Stop Loka or Tilopa camera bags

Hi,

I'm off to South Africa for 2 weeks in August. Mainly a walking/hiking holiday but with plenty of safari photo opportunities thrown in.

I've been doing a bit of reading up on trying to find a bag that would work for carrying all my kit but also be comfortable to wear for long walks during the day and these seem to be well recommended. The only complicating factor seems to be you have to buy them direct from the US.

Has anyone bought a Loka or Tilopa, and did you have to import it or is there a UK/EU supplier?

If so, how much did it cost (in £, ideally). I'm probably looking at the Tilopa with the Large ICU, but any data on these would be good.

Take a look in the Reviews section as there are a couple of Loka reviews in there and if i remember correctly information re a UK supplier...
 
PS. I picked up a Loka in the classifieds on here recently.....cant wait to get back to the UK to try it out!!
 
Get it touch with Paramo in the UK.

I know that the Loka with 1 ICU from them is £245 - so I expect the Tilopa might be around the £300 mark with an ICU.
 
Paramo have them in London store. If F-stop have them in stock then ordering direct is quick via European distribution centre. I have Tilopa it is superb.

I put my review there with prices (correct at the time, but there were no uk suppliers or eu warehouse then)
 
Thanks a lot for the advice everyone. Got a while to get this sorted, but I'm going to start off by checking with Paramo and see what price they can do me on various combos.

I would probably recommend cutting out going via the London store (unless visiting in person perhaps). I have been talking to Rob Cook at the Paramo HQ and he's been very helpful so far and seemed much more knowledgeable and happy to help than my initial contact with the store.
