Just some farmyard animal shots, comments much appreciated, good or bad! Also, I wasnt to sure as to the PP on these two, can anyone give their suggestions?
Hi Gabe,
The 1st picture is a nice composition but the subject looks a little dark to me.
2nd image, Im not keen on the composition here, I think you might have been best to concentrate on the pig on the right and shoot portrait, as having the pig on the left cut in half doesnt really work.
Also, your pics are oversized for the forum, we're 800px on the longest side. (I can cut your image tags & leave clickable links, or you can resize).
Ta.
EDIT: Ah, I see you beat me to it, regarding size.... thank you muchly!
I'd like to try and brighten 1, but I'm afraid that the background will become overexposed, is there some way in which I can avoid this, perhaps by using curves? (Don't know if that tool would have any application here, I've never used it...)
a touch of "curves" and selective colouring ( Cyan & green) to hold the background,
and just a touch ( maybe too much? ) of USM
is this any better
