Fast Wide Angle Canon Fit Lens Recommendations

Hit me with recommended, fast, ultra-wide angle lenses for full-frame Canon please.

I'm looking for something faster than f2.8, and something wider or equal to the 16-17mm range. Is there anything out there that fits the bill?

I'm looking for something around the £1100 price point but I realise I might be being a tad ambitious with that so lets just hear about the lenses and I'll worry about the pricing later

I've only ever considered Canon before but I might look at other options.

Just to add, I am more concerned about getting the faster lens. For speed I might compromise on the width.

The Canon 16-35mm f2.8 zoom would be the closest match in terms of focal length and price, but it's only f2.8

There is a 14mm f2.8 prime, but that's pricier at about £1800

Simga do a 20mm f1.8 prime for about £500

Yes I've looked at both the 16-35 and the 14mm prime. I like the idea of the 14mm prime but the £400 price difference is something I'd have to consider.

Didn't know about the 20mm Sigma, I'll take a look.
