You could do with some lighting behind so the cat doesn't blend into the background.

I rather like the lighting, I like the "mood" it creates. Lovely Cat too.

I like the fact the cat blends into the background personally, enhances the eyes and whiskers, which is just as well as 8 out of 10 cats prefer whiskers as we all know

I was going for that moody kind of look, but can see where you're coming from with the extra lighting. I did get some with more light but thought the darker ones looked better.
