Sunday was a mixed day, some sunshine, lots of rain, rolling mist and midges. It had it all :LOL:

This is the female Osprey coming into the nest, taken during a wee break in the weather.

Took with a 1dmk3, 600mm f4L + 1.4.

Decent shot mate.Though it is a shame the hide is so far away,but I guess that is for a very valid reason.

Yup, trying to talk the wife into letting me get either an 800mm or 1200mm, think there is more chance of me being on the next shuttle to space to be honest :LOL:
 
I have an 800 Aaron,it is still a wee bit too far off.

Loch Ness on the other hand........;)
 
They do fly near the hide sometimes,your 500 would be more than enough for that.......(y)

Thanks all for your comments, as most of you will know I do prefer to show my animals in their natural environment. I am not sure the 2 CCTV camera's on the tree can be seen as appropriate though :LOL:
