Shot at about 1.30am in a wooded swap a while back...Slow shutter and highish iso don't make for a great image but sometime you take what you can. A big scary brown bear cub.

Very endearing, lovely shot. Yes, I know they aren't cuddly..lol..I belong to the charity 'Libearty' (WSPA) and have a great admiration for bears. Hope to get to see some in Romania one day. I recently enjoyed another TV bear (Black Bear) documentary by Gordon Buchanan..wildlife photographer. It grieves me to know they have bear hunting season in the US. I think there's so much demand for a licence that in Minnesota they run a State lottery for one.
