Ths guy dropped into the tree full of redwings, they seemed quite happy together, probably too busy feeding on berries to argue. A bit of a crop but a handsome bird.

Well spotted and captured Steve, I have only managed to get one shot of the Fieldfare, but that is better than none I suppose

Nice effort Steve, like Elvis i haven't scored with a Fieldfare this season,,, yet. This particular bird looks very depleted in the tail area, at first i thought that it didn't have one at all, or was soldiering on with one tail feather. Maybe its an optical illusion.

I'm finally getting the hang of my Sigma 150-500, used to think it was a bad copy, but as usual it's operator error.

The tail does look a bit scrappy but in the field it looked fine.

Hoping to get some starling shots from Shapwick Heath tomorrow, weather permitting!
