File sorting in Lightroom - 2 cameras

Going to shoot a wedding in August with my 5D2 and 30D. Just wondering when it comes to processing, since the file numbers are different on the cameras, how do i get LR to sort the photos in order? The order that they are taken in the day.

I'd also like to know this, but for a 400D and 450D.

I done some searching on the internet before, but only managed to bring up the capture time on the thumbnails in the Library, but not managed to sort them in capture time.

In Library:

View > Sort > Capture Time

Got to View>toggle Loupe View> click the metadata tab> click camera and then in left pane of lightroom where all your folders are click all pictures/files and make sure all is selected in the other metadata colums and this will search all the cameras used.

You can then narrow this down by selecting which cameras and other stuff like dates.

Does anyone else find that LR, even when you have set, Sort, Capture Time, will change to its own choice without your permission?

I've not seen that before, other than when I have dragged files in the filmstrip to make a custom order, that swt stays organised how I left it...
