This Wren is sitting eggs in a nest between two down pipes right outside our kitchen door. She leaves the nest just long enough to grab a little food and collect materials for nest renovations as she's doing here.

She normally flies straight to the nest, but if anyone is around or if our kitchen door is open, she's very wary on the approach to the nest, taking several different routes, and stops to recce the situation. The nest is about six feet above her in the last shot and she went straight to the nest after that shot.

Nice stuff cedric,how many young?

I think she's probably still sitting eggs frac - bit late mind, but she leaves the nest very infrequently just to grab food for herself, so I can't imagine there's any young yet. I can't actually get to see in the nest, it's right up against the ceiling of the overhanging canopy.
