First 40D shot

Rushed this as I was excited to use it, the blacks are too dark and the picture looks a little OoF..

Enjoy the 40D, I've just upgraded to one and loving it.
The car looks ok focus wise to me.

Been fiddling around with it yesterday, so much more to do than the 300D we have, I dont know where to start.

Yes they are super cameras but loads of different settings as you said. I went on a training course so I could get the best out of mine!!

I could've sworn DM said the Canon 40D is a cracking camera.

Quite glad I learnt the basics on something simpler. The amount of buttons is slightly off putting. I will open the instruction manual one day, just trying to master the Av mode for now
