First attempt at macro

I am blowed if I can suss out how to put my picture on here. It will probably be very simple! Anyway I have pasted the link to my gallery for any comments on my first attempt at macro. I was using my D50 with the Sigma 70-300 Macro. Handheld & then cropped in elements4.

Well I think that’s an excellent first attempt...some good focus and reasonable dof. Seems very noisy and a little grey and flat looking..but other wise a fine effort indeed.

Very good for a first attempt, bees are not the easiest to photograph. You do realise you're now on a slippery slope!

Thanks for taking the time out to have a fiddle about with the levels. It looks alot better than it did.
