I'm new to this 'link' stuff so if it doesn't work I apologise!!

Just wanted to see what see people think

hi and welcome donk

i am not into this type of shot but its a cracker for grabbing attention
did you have the camera on a really solid base for this?
cheers

I managed to find a nice spot of pavement overlooking the bay, I think the shutter was on about 8 or 10 secs.
I was really surprised it came out this well, glad you think it's ok

The original is clearer, the site I uploaded to doesn't do it many favours

yes, well not being to nit picking i thought it showed slight double imaging
next time put the camera on a hanky or something to take out vibration...or better still a little tripod and then you can pull down on the legs to anchor it tightly to the wall

nothing beats a large heavy tripod though

ps try using pix.ie for uploads...fast and clear originals can be achieved

I do like this, it is a very punchy shot IMHO. As a previopus poster mentioned it is an attention grabber. Whilst the illuminated ferris wheel is dominant I like the subtle 'colours of the night' in the rest of the frame.

Ha, I was gonna take a picture of that tonight but I didn't get time and wasn't sure where to take it from. Good effort from a good angle (y)
