first attempt

Hi all this is my first attempt at shooting a flower it was also shot using macro hope this is the right place to put it.

Hello and

I cannot see what kit you are using and so it is difficult to see what you could have done here.

I think overall the image is very pleasing although you might want to pay attention to exposure as your bottom left corner is a tad blown out.

IMHO it is well balanced by the darker top right but the next person might disagree:shrug::bonk:

I think the DOF is good, possibly a bit too much and the sharpness is also nice for the subject matter.

All in all I would say Well done!

Thanks for your input anton as i said it was my first attempt but i am pleased with it i will be giving it another go at some point today may even try a bit of selective colouring as regards to my kit i was using a fujifinepix s9600 and a tripod very basic but just begining before i step in to the dslr range of cameras
