first Goldfinches

I heard about Chamber Farm Wood at Bardney just to the north east of Lincoln, so took a quick look there with some evening sun i took a few shots of goldfinches just outside the visitor centre which was closed.
On better inspection next time i will find the big hut (hide) and get some more natural shots hopefully, i'm having trouble finding a suitable place at the moment for a hide type place.

Erm, they are Goldfinches. If they are coming on a regular basis you could try setting up a branch as a natural perch. Your shots will be much better without the feeders.

LOL, oh dear i had greenfinch in my head from brother in laws garden where he gets quite a few. Thanks i'll try next when i get a bit more time.
