Tried this lens for the first time tonight. Going to be a hard lady to master i think.
Shot these 2, i focus stacked them also from 2 shots.
C and C welcome.

For a first attempt i think you've done very well. You still have the border that the stacking software adds along the top of the frame in the second picture which you can crop out.
 
is this the MP-E 65mm 1-5X

I had a month or so with one - just such a different way of working.
