Afternoon all,

I have managed to arrange my first photo shoot for next week.

This will be outside in a field / country park, and will be a portrait shoot, possibly using a bit of time for some lingerie pictures, depends on time, weather, how busy it is etc.

Anyway... Does anyone have any tips for someone going to their first shoot?

Looking at the weather next week mate best tip I can give you is take a brolly and some wellys

As they say, there's a time and a place for everything. And I'd say that a country park is not the place for a lingerie shoot. They are aimed at being "family friendly" and any family with kids stumbling upon a lingerie shoot are going to be very much less than impressed. I've heard stories of police being called over less.

There's a chance you'll be asked to stop, or at least hassled by park rangers if you're doing what looks like a professional shoot in their country park even if your model is in a mac and wellies (which going by the forecast for the next few weeks she may well be).

In my opinion swimwear on a beach is a lot "safer" than lingerie in a country park, but again if the beach has lifeguards you're running the risk of being asked to stop shooting.

If you really want to do an outdoor lingerie shoot then I'd say try to find a friend with a nice, secluded garden or hiring a location where you can specify what you're shooting and say that you need a "closed set" level of privacy.

This shoot had to be re-arranged due to the weather. Inlight of this, we have also decided to re-arrange the location for the above reason. Could be more bother then its worth.
