Some pretty heavy duty processing work there I think, as I always do when I see a subject on the right I think would it look better flipped over (in this case so the tree is on the left)
Yea there a lot of processing going on. Im new to digital and photoshop so really it was too see how far I could go. I do tend to print like this in the darkroom too mind.....
I'm new to all this also and certainly no expert, but I like the original better.
The grass in the foreground and the hills in the distance give it a sense of depth that is lacking in the mono.
In my opinion, it may have been better to have the main sunlight coming through the tree rather than to the side of it. Mainly, it would help bring a greater focus to the tree rather than the bright sun.
