First post in HDR - Delamere Forest

I took the kids for a walk in Delamere today. I was overun by images and in the end took very little as I didn't know what to shoot. However heading back to the car, the sun came out and I took this which looks very flat:

I knew the camera wouldn't be able to reproduce what I saw so I had a go at bracketing the shot again and doing HDR. This is much more akin to what I saw which is what I wanted to achieve. This is what I think HDR should be about. It's more an experiment in HDR. The subject matter is not that interesting.

when i visted there i didnt think the photo opportunities were great

Your PP works well, really brought out the image

Must admit I'm no real fan of HDR but here it's transformed a pretty average shot into one with some impact, nicely done
