Thanks for the replies guys. I will have a play around with sharpening.
The only way I know how at the moment is Unsharp Mask. I will have a look through some tutorials on here.

I've had a go at Hackers high pass sharpening tutorial and added the image to the first post.
Is this any better?

looks ok to me although the new one looks oversharpened for my liking.. id just sharpen selectively.. just the eye and parts of the feathers.. just my 2pence

How do you do selective sharpening oska?
