Took the long way home on Friday and walked through the parks and along the waterfront in Toronto to try and mess with the camera properly after only owning it for 24hrs (Panasonic FZ18), managed to get a few pictures Im chuffed with, C&C's welcome, just want to progress with it now.

Some great shots there. My first bit of advise would be to resize them down to 800 on the longest side before the pixel police catch up with you ;)

#1 whilst a bit soft makes a nice angle on it
#2 is good but maybe a tighter crop
#3 again is good but needs a tad more editing to bring out the best in it
pity about the chopped off bits in 4 and 5
6 and 7 are ok but agin need a touch of editing.
All will come with time and patience :)

Very good effort for your 1st attempt.

Nice enviromental settings for 3,4 & 5 - try not having having such a tight crop and in the case of 5 not clipping its tail from the frame.

For your 2 Swans would be inclined to try a portrait crop and including the whole reflection here.
