first time swans & pigeons

So I got my first proper outing with my camera today (the weather has just been miserable since I got it!! ) I'd really appreciate any thoughts on exposure/focus issues that I may have. All of these have been pp'd too, so if I seem to have overdone it anywhere, again I'd appreciate if you could advise me

Nice enough set of shots, the lighting looks as though it was harsh for #2, so tricky to get detail in the swans, #3 and #5 are the best.

Thanks for the comments guys

The sun was shining very bright in #2, so had my polarizer on, but the light does still seems quite harsh
