We live opposite a church, and the church grounds include a small and fairly unkempt wooded area. After checking with the church warden that it was ok to do so I spent an hour or so in the wooded area. In fact I went in about ten feet, saw something to photograph and after that probably moved no more than five feet away from where I first knelt down to take the first shot.

I was working hand-held with an A7ii and a pair of 2X teleconverters on a Laowa 100mm 2X macro lens, and a Venus Optics KX800 twin flash. I shot raw and processed the images in PhotoLab, Lightroom and DeNoise AI. 1300 pixel high versions of the 33 images I kept from the 500 or so captures are in this album at Flickr. Here are 8 of those images.
