Fitting Minolta lens to a 350D?

NEWBIE ALERT! Apologies for asking a question as my first post, but I'm about to buy a second hand 350d and need to know if I can get a converter so I can use my Minolta fit lens on the Canon.

Anyone know if it can be done?

Short answer - no.

Longer answer - If you have a lot of Konica-Minolta lenses, why not look for a 2nd hand Sony DSLR? Sony bought K-M's photography business, and kept the lens mount....

agree with reddeathdrinker,have a look at the sony alpha range.i have an alpha 100,which i got with the 18-70 plus the 75-300,but i've also purchased a couple of KM lens that fit the alpha...picture quality is nice and sharp etc,so you may want to consider one...

It is possible to mount Minolta lenses on the EOS system, but you don't actually use an adaptor. Instead you have to change the mount on the lens, which requires major lens surgury. So yeah, the short answer is no.
