Been meaning to try this for ages, finally remembered to but some cheap fizzy water in Tesco - voila! I know it's not insects or flowers but I like 'em :p

Camera mounted on tripod, square container + 1L of fizzywater, old t-shirt as back drop and my trusty B&Q LED lamp for light. Lens was the kit 50-200mm + Raynox DCR250. Cotton and pencil used for the earring shot.

I like them, there different. Did you place the items in a bowl with the water?

Just dropped the watch in and used old fashioned fingers to position, earring was suspended on cotton and the blank DVD was chopped in half and weighted with blu-tak!

love the bubbles on the 1st one.. certainly a great variation on my pencils :)

Keep an eye on fleaBay, they appear 2nd hand once in a while - I think I got my DCR250 for about £30...
