Beginner Flash light

Hi all,Could anyone recommend a canon flash light for my 5D mkiii at the moment I've been using a third party light but now want to upgrade,I want to be able to do everything from the back of the camera,also would it also be compatible with my 7d mkii ,many thanks for your time.Roy.

Canon 580 ex II or 430 EX II depending on how powerful you require it to be and budget.
