Flashgun which?

I narrowed down to 3 possible flashguns. Which should I invest in and not regret it later?

430ex2 Canon so far my fav but most expensive. Could do with teh extra difference in money. But power wise compared to the other 2?

Metz 48. New to this but heard from a friend its a bomb

Nissin d622 From the local shop he swears its the best ever flash. My friend from up here says its rubbish.

Price afford is in the region of 200 quid

I looked at these a couple of weeks back and posted a thread asking the same advice, from the responses I paid the extra for the EXII for the the build quality and the fact it is more sturdy in case it gets a couple of knocks.

The other two will do the job but I would rather spend a tad extra and get something that will last hence the EXII purchase. If you've got the cash for it buy once and buy properly, you won't be dissapointed

I'd look to buy a non-canon flash second hand as you will then be able to get practically 580EX specs for less than the cost of the 430 your looking at. I know it's tempting to stick with canon but you really can get an awful lot for your money else where and I can honestly say I've never had any doubts about the build quality of my Sigma flash and flat batteries apart it has never let me down.
