Hi,

Ive read what it gives you but is it really any different from the free account?

I do like the option of seeing who has viewed your images etc... but thats about all i can see that would be useful to me

I probably will upgrade when i can afford it just for the stats

Gives you more space and bandwidth, stats, ability to store and downlaod full res files, can add to up to 60 groups and more..

The real killer feature that prompted me to go pro on Flickr was the ability to use it fully with Lightroom publish collections, i.e. you make a change in Lightroom and it is pushed to Flickr.

Just upgraded mine to pro.tonight.:)

If you have ever had a @btinternet email then register with it and you will automatically be pro, you don't need to be with bt still - they let you keep the mail if you switch.

Pro works for me...cheap as chips for what you get!

Unlimited uploads & storage...original files saved after editing..access to stats (even if they do drive you half barmy wondering where some of the views have come from!) Still, I've been able to track my views on a couple of occasions and stop unauthorised commercial use.

I know some folk rather look down on Flickr, but it's been great for me. Some of the apps connected with it are excellent.

ive just found i have a flickr account which is already a pro account under my btinternet account but i cant log in as i cant remember the details and i cant reset my password as i cant access my email accout either so not sure what to do now

i now have a pro account i rang bt and they reinstated my account at a cost of £1.54 a month but saved me £15 for a pro account

haha im smarter than that lol i only agreed to the premium upgrade to get my account working so i could log into flickr and change my email address linked to it so now i have my account back and will then cancel the dd

TBh i think i'll have to upgrade. 200 pics just aint enough and you do get alot of extras.

go to BTYahoo and log in with your BTinternet mail id and then select "cannot remember password" answer the questions and you will generate a new password. This opens your BTYahoo account and on the left side of the page you wil see a link to Flickr...click on this and your FlickrPro account will open. Your FlickrPro ID will be your BTInternet email address...... I did this last night and it works
