Flickr... no slideshow.

Does anyone else find Flickr annoying in as much as you cant go through a set of photos in large mode? You have to open it as large, then close it again..then back to photostream mode, then find the next thumbnail, double click to open that, then open as large, then close again. What a PITA.

Or.....am i missing something?

yeah that annoys me a bit as well, clicking backwards and forwards just gets annoying after a while... but i guess a full sized image could take a while to load...

There are a couple of apps and external sites using the Flickr API that give a lot more functionality for things like this.

As an example, although not a slideshow, you can use Flickriver to display your images selected by tag, set, etc. Available options include displaying the images large (where available).

There are plenty of other options, e.g. Flickrslidr - just drop Flickr slideshow into Google and you'll see a list of apps and sites.

Cant you just use the slideshow button in the top right hand corner? I dont know if that works for individual sets mind you

I learn something new every day.. only works for sets, but it's easy enough to create a new set.
